I loved the Portuguese saying! I shared it with my family over the dinner table and we are experiencing its truth here in Galicia. It’s interesting that you loved your experience of living in the southern hemisphere. Being born there, I felt like the world made sense when i moved to the northern hemisphere . For example, the fact that February is the chosen month for being the shortest of the year . That decision for sure was made in the northern hemisphere !
